Communication Skills Downgrade at Schools

Introduction
In this proposal I will assess the current situation dilemma faced by students with regard to their lack of communication skills and identify the needs which should be addressed in order to improve their delivering abilities. The final section makes recommendations suggesting who the situation could be improved.

Current Situation
Feedback produced by a number of teachers proved that nowadays children are struggling to express themselves. They have lack of fluency and modulation. They are often stuck and keep repeating the same idea several times. Their visual supporters are often poor and many times not visible to the audience. They tend to avoid making eye contact or fail to address their audience. What is more, they are continuously moving, consequently neglecting the attention of the audience.

Key needs to be addressed
Both the lack of confidence found in students, the frequent downgrade in technological supplies present in schools and, therefore, the marked dependence on online visual platforms led to a growing decay in communicative skills.

Recommendations
I would suggest the following to whom it may concern:

• Pendrives should be used as to avoid inability of downloading files at the moment.
• I recommend using several images, videos and key words to enrich and make tasks more dynamic.
• Wireless Connections should be directed just to computers and not being allowed for devices in order to avoid overuse of the connection.
• Optional workshops and training courses should be offered to improve self confidence among students and correct tics or habits.
• I recommend setting up phonetic classes to allow students to improve pronunciation and modulation of words and sounds.

If these recommendations are implemented, the situation is bound to improve. Thereupon, allowing kids to develop more technical and improved communicating abilities that will help them in future areas of their lives.
